Edul Aajaha 2024 in Nepal

On Eid al-Adha, Muslims demonstrate their obedience to Allah by sacrificing an animal. The holiday is inspired by a story from the Quran that is also known to Christians and Jews.

Is Edul Aajaha a Public Holiday?

This is an official holiday only for certain groups in the country. Employees belonging to the group may choose to take the day off on this day, however, most offices and businesses remain open.

Sheep are among the animals sacrificed on Eid al-Adha.
