When Is the Next Lunar Eclipse?
There are at least 2 lunar eclipses each year. Find out when the next one is and if you can see it from your location.

The next lunar eclipse will be on 2025年3月14日金曜日.
It will be a spectacular total lunar eclipse where the Earth's umbra, the darkest part of its shadow, completely covers the Moon. Because a totally eclipsed Moon is usually colored red, total lunar eclipses are also called Blood Moons.
A lunar eclipse can be seen from all locations on the night side of Earth.
Only some stages of this eclipse will be visible in Tokyo because the Moon will be below the horizon for some of the time.
